Africanized Honeybee Swarm

Roster army: 🐝 Killer Bee Swarm
A swarm of roughly 2 million Africanized honeybees that pursue anything that disturbs them for hundreds of meters.

ROUND 1 OF 4

The Droid Battalion advances across the shimmering desert in perfect formation, their metallic frames reflecting the merciless noon sun as ten thousand tiny bodies hurl themselves against steel shoulders and sealed optical lenses. The swarm's furious drone fills the air, but stinger after stinger shatters against anodised plating—a billion pinpricks against an unmovable machine, while Ron Weasley sensibly ducks behind a combat unit and mutters about things being 'bloody mental.'

ROUND 2 OF 4

The drone bombers climb skyward, their silhouettes black against the bleached sky, whilst the droid formations below maintain disciplined volleys—mag-accelerated rounds shred through the swarm in geometric patterns, entire columns of bees vaporising before they can close. A section of the hive redirects toward the droids' joints and exhausts with desperate cunning, but the armour holds; Ron peers out from cover to watch hundreds of thousands of insects fall like scorched rain.

ROUND 3 OF 4

The first bombing run is surgical devastation. Thermobaric ordnance blooms across a square kilometre of desert, and the swarm's outer edge ignites in a catastrophic wave of heat and pressure—roughly half a million bees annihilated in seconds. The survivors scatter in panicked retreat, but the droid formations close the distance with remorseless efficiency, their weapons chattering without pause or mercy. Ron actually grins.

ROUND 4 OF 4

The final remnants of the swarm make one last suicidal push toward the drone bombers, a glittering cloud of pure spite and survival instinct rising into the thermals—but the second bombing run catches them mid-ascent, and the sky itself seems to convulse. When the dust clears, the desert is littered with the desiccated corpses of millions, and the Droid Battalion stands victorious, their formation barely compromised.

» The second drone bomber releases its payload into the retreating swarm, and two million years of evolutionary vengeance is reduced to smoking cinders drifting across the scorched stone.

THE WAR ORACLE'S VERDICT

The droids' sealed armour makes them nearly immune to bee stings, which cannot penetrate rigid metal or thick synthetic plating. The 400 combat units can advance in formation, using sustained gunfire to cull the swarm in waves. The two drone bombers become the decisive asset: hovering above the swarm's effective ceiling or making bombing runs, they can kill thousands of bees in minutes with area-effect ordnance. Ron Weasley, unarmoured and vulnerable, would likely be killed within the first engagement unless protected—but his presence is negligible beside the droid force. The bees' only viable strategy is saturation of the drones themselves (attacking optics, joints, exhausts) or overwhelming Ron, but neither suffices against sealed, metallic opposition and aerial bombardment.

  • Droid armour immunity to sting attacks
  • Aerial bombers operating beyond bee pursuit range
  • Swarm's inability to penetrate metal or thick composite
  • Ron Weasley as a minor non-combatant

MVP: Drone Bombers—aerial dominance sealed the rout.

The Africanized Honeybee Swarm is obliterated to the last insect, their entire genetic lineage extinguished across the desert plain. The Droid Battalion sustains minimal casualties—a few overheated servos, one confused wizard—and marches onward into the shimmering heat.
