The Siege of Grey Marsh
Battlefield: a foggy moor at dawn · 7 Oct 2026 · Ranked
Lone Sherman
One WWII M4 Sherman tank with a 5-man crew, a 75mm gun with 40 shells and two machine guns. It cannot refuel and the crew must eventually rest.
Mongol Horde
600 Mongol horse archers with composite bows and spare horses, using feigned retreats and constant movement, backed by 100 lancers in lamellar armour for the final charge.
ROUND 1 — THE ONLY ROUND
Lone Sherman fires a ranging shell that sends earth sky-high. Then Lone Sherman fires high explosive into the thick of Mongol Horde, and Mongol Horde finally break off, the last riders scattering across a foggy moor at dawn.
» The Sherman rolls forward over what is left of Mongol Horde.
THE WAR ORACLE'S VERDICT
Lone Sherman should dominate here. Immune to pre-modern weapons is too much for Mongol Horde, whose arrows eventually run out leaves it with very few answers.

MVP: The tank driver
It was over almost before it began. Lone Sherman barely broke a sweat.
